THE CASE STUDY
Overview
The 39th Annual Reef Cup Tournament at Ocean Reef Club brought together a week of competitive sailfish, daily events, and evening celebrations in Key Largo, Florida. Langenheim Creative Group was brought in to document and produce a multi-day tournament film that would capture both the energy of the competition and the overall experience of the event.
The goal was to create a cohesive story that could be presented at the Reef Cup Awards Banquet—bringing the entire week together in a single, engaging production.
The Opportunity
With multiple days of activity, locations, and participants, the challenge was to capture a fast-moving event while shaping it into a clear and compelling narrative.
The goal was to:
- Capture the excitement and scale of the tournament
- Highlight both competition and community
- Create a daily storytelling structure across multiple days
- Deliver a final production suitable for large-screen presentation
Our Role
Langenheim Creative Group led the video production and storytelling process throughout the event, including:
- On-location filming across all tournament days and activities
- Capturing both on-the-water action and on-site experiences
- Structuring daily content to build toward a final narrative
- Editing and producing a multi-day tournament film
- Preparing content for live presentation at the awards banquet
